Women - what boots do you wear during winter? Suggestions?

I need ideas for winter boots!


I%26#039;ve been wearing cowboy boots cos they%26#039;re waterproof and have a slight 1 inch heel (the back of my calves hurt when I wear totally flat shoes and I%26#039;m not good at walking in traditional heels!) but cowboy boots are a bit out of fashion at the mo and mine are looking abit tatty. So what do you suggest for a good everyday winter boot? Where I live it rains a fair bit, but I don%26#039;t want to have to wear wellies, lol.

Reply:Uggs are good - especially the proper ones because the soles are thicker and put less pressure on your feet however in the rain, they can go a bit tatty and you don%26#039;t want that for an expensive pair of boots - they are very comfy though! Don%26#039;t buy fake ones, they aren%26#039;t too good for walking long distances in. I would go to warehouse. They have some really nice fashionable ones or go to Dorothy Perkins...

Reply:Well I like to have a choice depending on wat I%26#039;m doing so here goes....I have the following:


1. Ugg boots, absolutely my fave, so comfy and great to wear with casual clothes.


2. Ankle boots in black suede.. couldn%26#039;t live without them wen going out in the evening... can wear them with jeans or dress them up for clubbing.


3. Pair of brown leather knee high boots with heels, comfy and great over a pair of skinny jeans.


4. My funky flowery wellies that I walk the dog with. Very practical in this weather!


5. A pair of tan cowboy boots from Topshop.. so versatile and comfy aswell, I think they are great as they are kinda flat (little heel) but still flattering. Cowboy boots aren%26#039;t out of fashion they are a classic!





I know I%26#039;m greedy.. and Im saving up for a pair of black ugg boots cos they are so comfy and for me they aren%26#039;t a fashion statement cos Ive had uggs for the last 10 years and they are so warm and snug.

Or I just wear Timberlands they look good on girls too!
