Why do girls dress crappier than guys in the States?

Why do girls dress crappier than guys in the States?
I think people in the states, especially women, prefer to dress comfortably. I%26#039;m in college and it seems the uniform is baggy sweatshirt, leggings or oversized sweatpants and Uggs. It, in my opinion, is an absolutely horrible look. However, I think a lot of people in school wake up not too long before class and put on the cleanest pieces of clothing nearest to them at the time. I personally never leave my home not dressed. I wear a lot of jeans, but almost never wear t-shirts or tennis shoes unless exercising. It%26#039;s something that I get a lot of remarks on at school. Not mean or hateful, people just say that I always look nice.





I%26#039;ve been studying in France for the semester and the difference in how people dress for school is amazing. Even for early classes, there is not one person at the school looking like they just rolled out of bed. They dress well, fashionably, and their hair and make-up is done, everyday.
Reply:thats the fashion in ireland.fatman pants,hoodies,a polo shirt with the collar sticking out and uggs.with a beaded necklace of bracelet to accesorize.and a metalic handbag.everywhere has their own fashion trends.i dont really like it either but it is not only america.and their hair.it is so messy it looks like they didnt even brush it.but they actually meant it to look that way.

Terms such as %26#039;thick%26quot; and %26quot;BBW%26quot; have become something to be proud about. There is NOTHING beautiful about a BIG WOMAN! FAT IS FAT and disgusting.





I agree it is rather disgusting and the women these days look awful.

Not all girls dress like that, either. It%26#039;s like in the 20s when women wore short skirts and gum boots: Just to be a little different. Although, I%26#039;ve never seen super-sized clothes with Wellies, myself.
