Can I wear ankle-length boots in the winter with skinny jeans?

I think skinny jeans really suit me (short and thin). I know wide legs are becoming more popular especially for this fall, but I want to continue wearing my skinny jeans.


What kind of shoes can I wear in the winter? I live in a place with a lot of rain and snow so canvas skimmers won%26#039;t work.





I have a pair of calf-length boots but I want a slightly different look.





Do booties/ankle boots look nice?

I think they look pretty good. Better than the Uggs that everyone seems to be wearing. This winter I%26#039;m definitely gonna rock some lace-up booties. :)
