Next year's fashion trends?

I am a student and. I plan to shop in January when all the prices are slashed but I%26#039;ll have a limited budget and want to buy things that will still be in style next year. What do you think will be in and what will be out? I am very fashion-ignorant (I just realized people are tucking their pants into their boots but these are some of the things I%26#039;ve gathered to be in this season:

Flat-heeled boots, metallic pumps, skinny jeans, UGGs, shooties, rain boots, stretch pants (if worn with long sweaters and UGGs), tights, big long sweaters, plaid jackets...I don%26#039;t really know what else. What should be must-haves and what can I do without? What winter coats are stylish? I don%26#039;t even know.

I appreciate the help!

Next year%26#039;s fashion trends?
bold colours and patterns are really hot for this spring, and tweed anything is the look for spring. I would recommend buying some signature pieces to work with your all year wardrobe, like black boots or flats. Long winter coats are very stylish, the ones that go down to mid thigh. If you get one like a pea coat, make sure its not too too wide because it will one, make you VERY cold, two it may make you look bigger than you appear. I would definitly recommend you buy a nice winter/spring coat because a really nice jacket will bring the outfit together and make it look polished
Reply:for spring everyone is going to be wearing skimmers. these are pants that go a little bit past your knee but not long enough to be kapris. they skim the bottom of your knee. and everyone is going to be wearing designer swim suits
Reply:I predict feminine -lace and soft materials. Anything under that category. The style for the past few years has been very mod; lots of square styled things. even women seem to be enjoying wearing %26quot;male%26quot; clothes.

My prediction is that a feminine trend is on it%26#039;s way. Invest in some long-sleeve laced shirts, or something with bows incorporated into the design. Anything soft and clingy or flowing. Keep your nice dark-wash jeans though -they%26#039;ll match anything and won%26#039;t go out of style any time soon.
Reply:How about you be original and find a style that suits yourself not others.
