I%26#039;m taking a trip to london and paris in late december/early january, what kind of clothes should i wear due to the weather? I don%26#039;t really hve any idea how the weather is in london and paris in late december/early january. is it REALLY snowy there? should i wear a puffy huge jacket or is a wool peacoat sufficent to keep me warm? should i purchase a pair of rain boots to wear while i%26#039;m waling around london and paris casue all i%26#039;ve got are my converses. or are rain boots too much and converses are enough to protect my feet from the weather. is this jacket, http://store.alloy.com/item.do?categoryI... , good enough to keep me warm in london and paris or is it not thick enough? or should it be more big and warm like this: http://store.delias.com/item.do?category...
What kind of clothes should i wear on my trip to london and paris (late dec./early jan.) to keep me warm?
Hi from France !
This year in Europe the weather it%26#039;s barely a little cold, to such a point I don%26#039;t started my heaving, not yet.
However, take some duffle coat/ clothes and umbrella, oh !! I forgotten !! Good and hot shoes too ...
Have a nice day and welcome to Europe,
Cat.
Reply:go to yahoo weather .com and look up london and paris for that time of year. my guess is any comfortable leather shoes and any med. weight jacket would do.
Reply:It is not neccesarily cold but it is damp. It is rainy at that time of the year. You want to keep dry, therefore you are warm. Waterproof footwear, waterproof coat. Gloves or mitts. Think of it as a rainy miserable day in autumn, just a bit chillier. Once in a while it will snow (wet snow).
Reply:It%26#039;s cold and wet during those months. Dress in layers. Since you%26#039;re going there for a trip, don%26#039;t carry too much clothes/jackets. Wear a t-shirt, then a sweater or hoodie (with fleece or fuzzy inside), then a light jacket that is waterproof and can block wind. Bring a hat, gloves/mittens, and a scarf just to be on the safe side.
It also depends on where you come from. If you%26#039;re used to colder winters (like Canada), you won%26#039;t feel so cold in London (therefore can dress lighter). But if you%26#039;re from warmer places (like Florida), then you%26#039;ll need to wear more.
