Sore, sore feet : \?

Okay, so I recently just started a new job at a slaughter house type place. I have to stand/walk for about 6 hours, and by the 3rd hour my feet are just unbearably sore. I have to wear these big rain type boots and by the 6th hour I'm finding every excuse that I can to sit down/go to the can and sit on the crapper just to rest my feet. I'm a "bigger" fellah so does anybody have any ideas? And please, no smart answers about losing weight, because I'm working on it : ].

I've been thinking about trying Dr. Scholls, what do y'all think?

And thanks for the help.

You poor thing! I know what you mean, sore burning soles of the feet. First of all get yourself some rich cotton socks, they will help to absorb moisture and perspiration. On that note, try a foot anti aspirant....Scholl do a fabulous range.

Also, if they will allow you, purchase your own boots. Try Crocs.. they do a range of waterproof boots. They are THE most comfortable things you will EVER wear. Foam type sole, that gives with your movement and takes the strain from your body. Seriously, they are Divine. I too am a larger lady (and working on it!) but these do the job for me.
