Listen. Take the Army boots off and put on some real great shoes and the dress up like great and get out of the rain. There are many places you can go out of the rain and meet people.
Feeling sorry for yourself is your first problem. Be positive and get your butt out and start being confident in yourself.
All the rest will fall into place.
