Portland weather?????

hi im going on vacation to portland or. and i need to no the forcast fot the date oct. 13 also i need no what to bring boots?? rain coat and all that jaz thanks

Portland weather?????
October 13. Next Saturday. Still a little over a week away, but right now, the local station I rely on for accurate weather forcasting is calling for temps in the 60s with a mix of clouds and sun.





Whatever you bring, DO NOT BELIEVE THAT IT RAINS HERE EVERY DAY!!! Whoever said that doesn't know what they're talking about.





You would be wise to come prepared. Weather in Portland in October can be tricky to predict. It may rain, it may be sunny. Bring a medium level coat, or a heavy coat that has an inner lining that you could use as a light coat. Bring an umbrella. I don't think boots are necessary unless you're planning on spending a lot of time outdoors. Bring both light and heavy footwear; possibly something waterproof.





Be prepared for anything. But whatever you can pack, I hope you enjoy your visit to our wonderful city!!!

Its fall then so I suggest a light jacket at night.

Reply:You can bet on cold and rainy. I checked yahoo weathers extended forecast and it agrees. Always have a warm waterproof coat and some good water resistant shoes. If you're going to be checking out the sights I'd bring an umbrella for the outdoor walking. You might want a back pack instead of a purse because in rain it's easier to keep your stuff dry.
