I agree that what were considered miracles were either made up, exaggerated or illusions perpetuated on the ignorant. I also agree that we dont NEED a god, we dont have one, therefore if we needed one we wouldnt be able to exist. But what you seem to be suggesting is that humans can be like gods. Isnt this were we ran into trouble in the past? Jesus and various other people have come along and said they are god, or have godlike powers. Which they may or may not have really believed themselves. Whether they were deluded or liars is not for us to know now, but other people believing it was possible to have godlike powers enabled these delusions to be accepted by many people down the generations. Attitudes like yours created the possibility for the religions you seem to dislike. Plus we as individuals are not capable of achieving all that you state, it is only by working together and combining our strengths (or weaknesses) we achieve great / big things.
